Carcade ("we", "our", "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

How We Use Your Information

Third-Party Services

Car identification is powered by Google's Gemini AI API. Photos submitted for identification may be processed by this third-party service in accordance with their own privacy policy.

Advertising

Carcade is free and shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID, IP address, and app and device information to show ads, measure how they perform and prevent fraud. It may show personalised ads based on this information. Google's handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalisation at any time in your Android device's settings (Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads). Where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we ask for your consent before showing personalised ads.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Firebase (a Google service). We do not sell your personal information. Data used for advertising is collected and processed by Google AdMob as described above.

Children

Carcade is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your Choices

You may delete your account and associated data at any time from Settings. You can also control ad personalisation as described in the Advertising section.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
